6.5% Si steel has incomparable advantages in its application, such as power saving, energy saving and emission reduction, excellent magnetic properties and wide application prospects. The Institute cooperated with Guoxin foil to introduce Zhang Fengquan's team, which successfully subverted Japan's 6.5% high silicon steel manufacturing process and developed a complete series of technologies for near net shape manufacturing of high silicon steel. The product performance reached the Japanese level, the product specifications were more than Japan, and the use was wider. The double carbon reduction of manufacturing process and products was realized, which solved the "neck sticking" situation in this field and supported the development of national defense construction.
